Round Table Associates is an independent producer of television programming, and over the years has produced a number of shows and series that have had air play nationally and internationally. Initially, we began by doing television documentaries for not-for-profit agencies. (See NON-PROFIT) Three of these documentaries were shown widely in North America and in Europe. 1979 - ‘WHAT COLOR IS THE WIND’ - A one hour television documentary shot on location in India, on the plight of blind and handicapped in specific regions of this country. Aired in Canada, USA and Germany. 1983 - ‘SHARE THE LIGHT’ - A one hour television documentary on the increasingly devastating spread of a disease commonly known as "River Blindness" around the White Volta River areas of Ghana, West Africa. Aired in Canada, USA & Germany. 1989 - ‘CHILDREN OF VIJAYAWADA’ - A one hour television documentary on the health crisis of the children of the slums of Vijayawada, India, where Polio is still rampant among the young people because of the lack of a vaccination program. TELEVISION SERIES: As an independent producer, Round Table Associates has produced a number of television series that have enjoyed wide acceptance by North American and Overseas audiences. 1991 - ‘APPLAUSE’ :This was our first series and was praised by television critics as a "fresh and honest" presentation of primarily Canadian entertainers, many who enjoyed world acclaim. The series of 26 thirty minute episodes included personalities such as: Frank Mills, George Fox, Liona Boyd, Moe Koffman, Roger Whittaker, Carroll Baker, Hagood Hardy, Rivka Golani, Peter Appleyard, Canadian Brass, Andre Philippe Gagnon, Michelle Burgess, The Nylons, Dan Hill, Good Brothers, Salome Bey, Ronnie Hawkins, Sylvia Tyson, Patti Jannetta, Eric Robertson. The series enjoyed wide play across Canada. 1990-91 - ‘N.E.W.S. - Not Exactly What it Seems’ :A 30 minute weekly telecast on Vision TV across Canada with David Schatzky as Host. Thirty-nine episodes gave us an incisive look at top news items. The challenge for Round Table was to produce the show and air it on the same day to ensure the material was current. 1991 - ‘ASIAN MAGAZINE’: A 30 minute weekly program on Vision TV across Canada seeking to promote cultural understanding....produced by the Asian Cultural Network. |

1995 - ‘WEIGH TO GO’: |
A series of unique cooking shows Hosted by Franceen Friefeld, best selling author - "The Healthy Weigh". The shows concentrated on delicious, fat free and low fat recipes that promote a healthy lifestyle. Twenty-six shows were aired on The Life Network in Canada and on several markets overseas. The program is currently being marketed world-wide because of its popularity and timely content. |

A series of 13 thirty minute shows on the equestrian world in all of its facets from jumping, racing, polo, carriage teams, shows to breeding and care of horses. This series is currently being marketed in North America and Overseas. Watch for it. |

1995-97 - ‘THE ULTIMATE FISHING SHOW’

Currently entering its third season, this series of 52 plus sport fishing shows is the "hottest" new presentation because of its variety of people, places and fishing techniques. Everything is shown as it happens. Less "smoke and mirrors", more reality. "Big Jim" McLaughlin is the featured Host and a variety of Guest Hosts, from Canada and the United States, appear throughout the seasons to provide different perspectives to the viewer. The programs are currently being seen in North America on coast to coast satellite and terrestrial stations. Coming soon to the Internet, The Ultimate Fishing Show will have its own website.
